The outer door to the North Lodge was broken, creating an uneasy feeling regarding security. Some pool lockers only accept old £1 coins, which feels outdated and inconvenient. Loud wedding music late into the evening disrupted the otherwise tranquil atmosphere, which could be a bother if you're trying to unwind. The restaurant had limited menu items accessible, even during a pre-selected dining format, and the wait for food sometimes stretched too long, diminishing the overall dining experience.

I stayed for two nights and really appreciated the lovely views over the estuary from the dining area, along with being so close to the Hackney Marshes Local Nature Reserve, perfect for scenic walks.

The breakfast view was as lovely as the homemade pastries, absolute legends in the culinary realm! Plus, the swimming pool was a hit with my 5-year-old, making for a fab family time.

A right mix-up about getting cutlery for my meal! Plus, the late morning racket from the bins wasn't ideal for my beauty sleep.

The gym facilities are great, but they need better cleaning.

I had a great room and it was blessedly quiet which made it perfect for someone like me looking for peace. The breakfast had a lovely view, really added to the experience.

I absolutely adored my stay! The views from my Deluxe Double Room with a balcony overlooking the river were breathtaking, especially at sunset. The spa facilities, including the heated pool and jacuzzi, offered the perfect relaxation after a day of exploring.

This place suits me perfectly. it offers free Wi-Fi, a lovely bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped with local delivery recommendations on my first stay. I'd recommend trying the indoor swimming pool too. I'm coming back for a business trip.

The staff were super welcoming and accommodating when we arrived early. Our room had awesome views and was clean and comfy. The swimming pool was a nice touch for a chill swim. Only bummer was the bathroom had a bad smell. Breakfast was good but not freshly cooked. nice vibe and relaxing atmosphere.

Very friendly staff. Spa facilities need better maintenance. Location near the estuary is peaceful. The golf course looks appealing, though I didn't use it.
